My name is Maya-Róisín (M-R for short). I’m a Berlin-based arts and culture journalist and editor with a special interest in music, and the co-founder and editor of event series and print zine USB Magazine. From 2020 - 2022 I worked as Events Editor and then Features Editor for Currently for electronic music publication Resident Advisor. Beyond this my writing and criticism have been featured in publications like The Guardian, FACT, and Crack Magazine among many others. I’m also an experienced creative strategist and copywriter having worked with different agencies and brands to develop advertising and content strategy.
My poems have been published in the eighth edition of the Bridge poetry book series and in Commo Magazine.
